Festival Interceltique de Lorient

Bagad New York is honored to be invited this summer to the Festival Interceltique de Lorient, the centerpiece celebration of Breton music, held annually in Brittany, France. As one of the handful of Bagadou existing outside of Brittany, the invitation is an enormous honor for us, enabling Bagad New York to share our love of Breton music in Brittany for the first time!

DONATE NOW!

Since 2009, Bagad New York has set out to share our love of Breton music in the United States. We've played almost 100 performances in that time, from Manhattan to Alaska, whether it was a Fest Noz, festival, or even on an aircraft carrier! We've introduced thousands of people in the USA to Breton music, and will continue to find opportunities to do so!

For 16 years, the members of Bagad New York have graciously supported our mission by paying the band's expenses largely themselves personally. With a trip abroad, our expenses increase significantly, and we're asking for your support to help us mitigate some of the expenses associated with this trip in August 2025

Bagad New York t-shirts

A l'aise Breizh, Bagad New York tee

Back in 2011, A l'aise Breizh, "the Chik Bigoudène", and Xavier Richard aka El Globos (RIP) created a stunning design for us.

Thanks to Kerlenn Pondi, we are re-releasing a new limited edition shirt. It's now possible to pre-buy it online for pickup on-site in Lorient during the festival.
